This one is SIlver! Silver is a beautiful metallic gold opaque filament. 3D printed objects in EasyFil™ ABS Silver will have a beautiful precious metal appearance.
EasyFil™ ABS are new series ABS filaments designed to be easier to print limiting the warping common for all ABS materials! On top of this EasyFil™ has a higher impact-resistance than the regular ABS filaments. We recommend to set your print bed at 90 to 110oC for maximum quality. The printing temperature is about 220 to 260oC. It is applicable to all FDM RepRap printers because EasyFil™ means "easy to use".
This filament can be used with almost all desktop 3D Printers such as:
Ultimaker
RepRap (Mendel, Huxley, Prusa)
Solidoodle
MakerBot (Replicator, Replicator 2, Replicator 2X)
Leapfrog
UP! Plus, Up! Mini
AND MANY MORE....!
ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is one of the most common thermoplastic polymers used for the production not only in 3D printing, but also in variety of other industries. It is a fossil fuel derived material and unlike PLA is not a “green” and biodegradable plastic.
The mechanical properties of the material are characterized with resistance and toughness. It takes temperatures above 105 °C to deform this plastic (glass transition temperature) and that makes it perfect for making durable parts. At the same time it is softer then PLA, which makes it easier for post processing and gives a more esthetic look to your parts.
